Custom remodeling, one project at a time
David Grubb has been running his own construction company for over 15 years, working on quality residential projects, large and small. That experience has earned him the ability to deliver a project that is just right for the home owner. Some clients want to be very involved, others would like to return from a vacation to find their project perfectly finished. Whichever is the case, David works hard to make the process of transforming a room or house into an rewarding experience for his clients.
"Turning your home into a dream home should be an enjoyable experience. Often the obstacles of decision-making, money concerns, and the inconveniences of the project can be trying; since I work directly with the clients, I can tailor each project to their particular style and priorities. I am commited to make the project run on-time and within the budget. I strive to make an experience that clients can look back on fondly." – David Grubb
Quality: With fifteen years of kitchens, baths, additions, and house make-overs under his belt, David has found and cultivated relationships with some of the Bay Area's best craftsmen/women. Whether the budget is large or small, David has assembled a mighty team of skilled sub-contractors whom together help make a beautiful project. "Our working relationships with subcontractors are long and strong; which helps to improve the quality, budget and timeliness of each job."
Certified as a Green Builder through NARI (National Association Remodeling Industry), David helped to start and run NARI's green certification program in 2001, when Green building was in its infancy. The program has morphed over the years and is now known as Build It Green and known through the Bay Area. David makes EVERY project a green project. The landfill is avoided when possible; good lumber is salvaged for reuse or given to recycling centers; and non-toxic products are used, making it safe for the home owner and his employees. His knowledge of green products and green construction handling at all stages of construction make the project green all the way through, not just in the design stages when materials are chosen.
Before starting his own company in 1995, David was a construction manager for large-scale commercial tenant improvement projects. David has been in the construction industry for almost 30 years.
